This is why we have a vision to start new churches that are real, relevant and relaxed. These churches will be a safe place where people just like you can come and hear good music, listen to the bible being taught in relevant ways addressing real life issues, and learn more about God and his purposes for us here on earth. Soon many new churches will be emerging across the Dakota prairies. Dan Braaten grew up on a farm outside of Larimore North Dakota. As a teen he dropped out of church and got involved in music. He and his wife Debbie had a night club band for years and didn’t attend church. In 1983 both Debbie and Dan made a serious change in there life, marriage and family. These plans included God for the first time. Soon they were out on the road with their family making music for God in churches across the country. In 1991 their family settled in Lee’s Summit, Missouri (a suburb of Kansas City) and they started New Beginnings Church. This church was designed to be a home for un-churched people. Dan is teaming up with several church planters and spiritual leaders to start new churches across North and South Dakota. This is just the beginning of a great adventure and we are looking for willing people and pastors who want to make a spiritual impact in the Dakotas
