District Elections

At our District Assembly in June, the Dakota delegation voted for the merger with the Minnesota District. Dialogue on the plusses and minuses of merging our districts has been going on for several years between Dr. Kraemer and Dr. Richard Sickels, DS of the Minnesota District. We have held eight meetings across the two districts this past year discussing this possibility. If the Minnesota district approves the merger at their assembly August 12, it will take effect immediately and Dr. Kraemer will become the Superintendent of the new district, as Dr. Sickels is retiring. The District Assembly also elected Rev. Tim Brown -  Ellendale, Rev. Mike Kraemer- Oakes,  and Dan Mosteller - Pierre to the District Advisory Board. Rev. Fred Morrison- Valley City and Lonnie Bleese – LaMoure, were elected as Trustee’s to Mid America Nazarene University. Dr. Kraemer also received a unanimous four year renewal vote.
