Codington County has a 2000 census population of just under 26,000 people.  Although there are churches in Watertown, there are few churches with an exciting ministry to families and children.  As we look at this area for a possible new church plant, we look at the growth of the city, the number of people who currently do not have a church home (estimated at over 20%), and our healthy churches nearby in Sioux Falls, Mitchell and Madison.

Brookings, SD

Brookings County has a 2000 census population of just under 29,000.  This community with a great established college is a prime location for a new dynamic and relevant church.  Almost 40% of the population has no church home in Brookings.

Vermillion, SD

Clay County has a 2000 census population of just under 14,000 and is a booming college town.  Industry is expanding in this area and makes a great location for a new church.  More than 50% of the people in Clay County do not have a church home, this makes an ideal location for a new church start!
